Terms of Use
Pale Ink is distributed through the App Store and Apple's standard end user licence agreement applies. The notes below are additional.
Subscription
A first subscription includes one week free, with nothing held back. After the trial it renews monthly at the price the App Store shows for your region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews at the same price and is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
One-time purchase
Instead of subscribing you can unlock Pale Ink with a single purchase, at the price the App Store shows for your region. It is a non-consumable in-app purchase: it does not renew, it does not expire, and there is nothing to cancel. It carries no free trial — Apple's introductory offers exist only for auto-renewing subscriptions. Both routes unlock exactly the same app. On a new device or a fresh install, bring it back with Restore purchase on the paywall; it is tied to your Apple Account, not to us.
Cancelling
Cancel a subscription any time in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. You keep the rest of the period you paid for; that period is not refunded. The one-time purchase has no subscription to cancel. Without an active subscription and without the one-time purchase, the page stops rendering; your settings, canvas placements and saved pages stay on the device. Refunds for either are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them.
What you open
Pale Ink is a browser. It does not host, cache, proxy or modify any third-party content. Which sites you visit and what you see there is your decision and your responsibility. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, unrelated to Pale Ink.
No warranty
The software is provided as is. We work to keep it stable and useful, but make no promise that it runs without fault on every device and every website.
